He was born in Madeira, Portugal. His father is José Dinís Aveiro and his mother is Maria Dolores DOS Santos Aveiro. He grew up with an associate degree older brother, Hugo, and 2 older sisters, Elma and Katia. Katya could be a singer from the Portuguese Republic. On stage, he sings below the name “Renaldo”. His mother’s last name is DOS Santos and his father’s last name is Aveiro.

Early career

World Cup event
On 8 July 2006, controversy arose over Ronaldo’s role in red-carding United teammate Wayne Rooney in the 2006 World Cup quarter-final between England and Portugal. Ronaldo then told reporters that he felt he should leave Manchester United because the conditions at the time were not suitable to play there.

After two World Cup qualifiers, Ronaldo traveled to Indonesia. He visited the tsunami-hit area there and participated in fundraising. He met Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla and East Timor President Janana Gusmao and raised £66,000 by auctioning off his own sports equipment.
